E-Commerce Copywriter

Position Summary

The Ecommerce copywriter will work closely with the growth manager for the success and growth of the website by making sure that we have a customer-centric products description. An attention to detail and an interest on Turkish products is required to ensure that product production specs are represented online, enhancing the overall customer shopping experience.

Key Responsibilities/Duties

 

  • Write clear and compelling copy to describe products.
  • Add the products descriptions and images to the website.
  • Collaborate with designers to create appealing graphics that complement text
  • Provide detailed descriptions, attributes, cross-references, features/benefits, documents and images.
  • Conduct competitive research to identify our strong and weak points
  • Apply SEO principles to maximize reach to our target audience.
  • Make sure the website is SEO friendly.
  • Update product descriptions as needed (both on our websites and other online resources)
  • Research for new products trends on Turkey and advise us accordingly.

Required skills (Education, experience, languages, and abilities)

 

  • Education: BSc in Business Administration, Marketing or relevant field.
  • Experiences: 2 years’ experience as a Product
    Copywriter, Copywriter or similar role.
  • Languages: English and Arabic are must, Turkish is a
    plus.
  • Other abilities:
    • Excellent Arabic writing and proofreading skills.
    • Hands-on experience with Content Management Systems (e.g. WordPress).
    • Familiarity with online marketing campaigns.
    • Keyword search knowledge.
    • Basic SEO knowledge.
    • Time-management abilities.
